Aussies 2008 will be featured in every edition of Surf Life Saving Australia's 'Surf Line' eNewsletter from now until the Championships. It will contain useful and impotant information including how to book your travel arrangements, back of beach entertainment, what to see and do in Western Australia, transport passes and schedules and a whole lot more. Aussies '08 Newspaper
08/04/08 - THE SURF SPORTS media team at the 2008 UBD Australian Surf Life Saving Championships at Scarborough Beach have put together a daily four-page newspaper for distribution at Scarborough Beach but is now available in PDF form on the Hanson Sports Media website. Click on the links below to download the first three editions and watch out for issue four.

Aussies Transport Pass
If you have purchased an Aussies Transport Pass there are three shuttles leaving from Wellington St Bus Station (behind platform C) at 6:30am each morning. These are the only shuttles that are running.
For those people that aren't staying in the city, your pass will allow you a free ride on all Transperth public transport.
Golden Girl Gould to Race Men at 'The Aussies'
01/04/08 Olympic Golden girl Shane Gould will make her debut in different waters at this year’s UBD 2008 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships at Scarborough Beach, WA and she is going to race the men.
Gould, the winner of three gold medals at the 1972 Munich Olympics will compete for the North Cronulla club in NSW. Read more

City of Stirling
29/02/08 - The City of Stirling will be putting on Children's Activities, Market Stalls and Roving Entertainers during the Aussies 2008 for further details visit the City of Stirling website www.stirling.wa.gov.au and click on the ‘Aussies 2008’ link.
Information Tent at Aussies 08
29/02/08 - Make sure you drop into the Information Tent at Scarborough Beach during the Aussies. Staff from the City of Stirling, Surf Life Saving Western Australia, Tourism Western Australia and Discover West Holidays will be on hand to help you with your enquiries. You’ll be able to find out the latest event information, entertainment options, things to see-and-do in and around Scarborough, Perth and regional Western Australia, plus be able to book travel and tours.
You may even want to talk to the Discover West Holidays representative about accommodation for the 2009 Aussies.
Opening hours are Tuesday 1 April to Sunday 6 April from 7am to 4pm.
Aussies 2008 Passports
29/02/08 - Passports are back for 2008 - make sure you pick up your copy of the Aussies 2008 Passport from the information tent and merchandise tent for all the info on festivities surrounding the Aussies 2008, the best entertainment venues and other special offers.

Scarborough Sportsmen's Club Invites You…
14/02/08 - The Scarborough Sportsmen’s Club extends an invitation to all Surf Life Saving members and their families participating at Aussies 2008 in Perth, to visit their club throughout the Championships and perhaps even book in one of your club functions.
The Scarborough Sportsmen’s Club (SSC) is located a mere 10 minute walk from Scarborough Beach, in Deanmore Road, opposite Abbett Park. Shuttle buses will also be running to and from Abbett Park from the events. To find out more click here
